Weekend Announcements

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 18, we’re hosting our monthly free soup and sandwich luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, the Hope Chest will be open without any appointment required from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

On Sunday, Pastor Brian will lead the service. We will be blessed by a message from Pastor Steve Moore titled “Why Do We Live In The Gray?” at both 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Next Sunday, October 26, we will hold a combined service at 10:00 a.m. Before church, join us for a Connect Fair. Come and explore ministry and mission opportunities at 2nd Avenue, starting at 9:20 a.m. (Note: There will be no Sunday school on this day.)

Starting this Sunday, you can order 2nd Ave t-shirts and sweatshirts. Payments for orders must be made by November 2 (no late payments will be accepted). Please bring your order form and payment to me on Sundays or during office hours. Alternatively, you can place them in my mailbox in the hall. Make checks payable to 2nd Ave GMC, or pay in cash only (we don’t have a way to make change). Order forms and shirt images are located on the table in the sanctuary. Please don’t remove the image sheets from the table. Shirts are available at cost so that we can make them accessible to as many people as possible.

Reminders!

On Saturday, October 25, we will welcome our Conference Superintendent, Steven Taylor, for a time of worship and fellowship at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

On Sunday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m., we will be hosting an organ recital and hymn sing. Our organist, Braydon, along with two other local organists, will perform.
