This Sunday, we’ll gather as one church family for a single service at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Brian will continue our Beloved series with a message from Song of Solomon 6 titled, “I Will Go.”. Everyone is invited to stay for the potluck luncheon immediately following the service—we hope you’ll join us!

The 2nd Ave Kids Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, March 29th, immediately following the 10:45 a.m. service. All children 5^th grade and under are invited to join the fun! Thank you to everyone who purchased strawberries for Valentine’s Day! This was our biggest sale ever, and we are so grateful for your support. All proceeds will go directly to the loan fund.

A reminder that tomorrow begins our Lenten journey. Ashes and communion will be available from 8:30–9:30 a.m. There will also be a service following the ROCK (beginning around 7:05 p.m.) that will include a time of ashes and communion. Please enter through the glass doors only for the evening service. These doors will be unlocked at approximately 6:50 p.m., as the ROCK will still be in session until that time. If you are unable to attend either opportunity and would like to receive ashes and communion, please contact Pastor Brian today to arrange a time to meet.

Fish FRYdays begin this week and will run each Friday throughout Lent (except Good Friday). Doors open at 4:00 p.m., and you may call ahead for takeout beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The Rhett Walker concert is coming up in less than five weeks! If you are willing to help promote the event and know of a church or business that could display a poster, please stop in during office hours or see me on Sunday to get one. Please also consider sharing the event on Facebook. This concert is open to all, and we are hoping for a full house. FAQs related to the concert are included below.

Ash Wednesday will be observed on Wednesday, February 18. Join us for ashes and communion from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., or attend our evening service following the ROCK at approximately 7:05 p.m., with ashes and communion available.

Join us for a combined service on Sunday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a potluck luncheon. Please be sure to sign up so we can plan accordingly.

Fish Dinners will begin on Friday, February 20, and will be held each Friday during Lent (except Good Friday) from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Call-ahead takeout will be available beginning at 3:30 p.m. Takeout meals are $15.

Buffet pricing is as follows: Adults – $18; Seniors (65+) – $15; Children (10 and under) – $13. The buffet includes select beverages and dessert (sodas available for purchase).

All proceeds benefit the Youth Group. Dessert donations are appreciated and may be dropped off in the kitchen on Thursdays during office hours or on Friday afternoons.

Out of an abundance of caution, and the safety of our staff and you, church council has made the decision to cancel services on Sunday January 25, 2026.

Pastor Brian will be putting a video on Facebook about 10:00 a.m.; Jill will see if she is able to get it to YouTube for anyone who may not have Facebook access. One thing you can do to help us, is make sure anyone you know who does not have email or Facebook is aware there will not be services tomorrow. 

The church office will also follow the AASD and be closed on Monday, January 26. We will be available by email during regular office hours.
