Join us Sunday at 8:15/10:45 AM for our message “Expression of the Heart: His Love Endures Forever” Psalm 118:1-14.

Monday, July 11th at 6:30 pm is Game Night – everyone of all ages welcome!  Bring some (church appropriate) board games and a snack!

Sunday, July 17th, is our “Stock the Pantry” day.  We will have a table set up outside the Food Pantry on the stage for you to drop off your donations before/after services.  If you’d like to make a donation of nonperishable goods, but can’t bring them next Sunday, please call the church office to make arrangements to do so.  

VBS is about a week away!  There’s still time to sign up any kids age 4-5th grade.  July 18-22 6-8 pm   If you’d like a way to help out this ministry but can’t volunteer, please consider making a donation to sponsor t-shirts for the kids!  Your donation can be placed in an envelope marked “VBS T-shirts.”

Just a reminder, Jill will be out of the office until Tuesday, July 12th.

A Few Reminders

The church office will be closed Monday, July 4th for the holiday. The church office will be open Tuesday & Wednesday 7:30 am – 12:30 pm. Jill will be away until Tuesday, July 12th.  Please contact Pastor Brian directly with any pastoral needs.  Please note messages left after 12:30 pm on Wednesday, July 6th will be returned on July 12th.

Blueberries will arrive (for those who ordered) on Thursday, July 7th, time still TBA.  Pastor Brian will let you know when they are here so you can pick them up.

Looking for a way to help VBS but can’t be here?!  Ashley is looking for sponsors to help cover the costs of the t-shirts for the kids.  Sponsorships can be placed in envelopes marked “VBS shirts.”  Each shirt costs $10 and any help is greatly appreciated!

VBS is only a few short weeks away!  July 18th – 22nd for kids age 4 through 5th grade.  Please contact Ashley with any questions.

Rise Up Camp is July 25th – 29th at Highland Park for kids ages 4-12, please see Pastor Brian for registration information.

The church Block Party will be back on Saturday, August 13th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Invite your friends, family & neighbors!  It will be a great time of fun, games, fellowship & delicious food! Volunteer opportunities coming soon!

Reminders

Tickets are for sale for our Taste of Italy dinner being held on Saturday, June 25th.  Tickets are $10; meal includes lasagna, stuffed shells, a meatball, garlic bread, salad & dessert.  You can stop in during office hours M-Thurs 7:30-12:30, or get them on Sundays before/after services.  If you’d like to sell any to friends/family/co-workers/etc., please stop and see me and we can arrange to get you some tickets to sell.

Next Sunday is also the final day to turn in blueberry order forms/payments.  Order forms are available here at the church or you can order via the link below and bring your payment to the church by 6/19.

Ashley is still looking for VBS volunteers!  VBS is held July 18-22 and we need at least 5 more volunteers to make this a successful event. Please contact her with any question or if you’d like to help out

Taste of Italy

Taste of Italy Dinner to benefit Second Ave UMC to help pay off the Elevator Loan. Tickets are $10/per person and the dinner is dine in only. The dinner will include Lasagna, Stuff Shells, Meatball, Garlic Bread, Salad, Dessert and Beverage. The dinner will be held on Saturday, June 25 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Tickets are on sale during normal office hours or they can be purchased on Sundays.
