We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to repeat this wonderful experience in the future.

This week, we’re seeking individuals to start visiting during office hours or record and submit their interpretations of what it means to be a disciple. Our goal is to create a video for Easter Sunday that showcases the diverse perspectives of our community. We encourage everyone to contribute and make a great video to share. Additionally, I’ll be visiting Sunday School classes on Sunday, so please have a few prepared to speak. :)

Weekly Announcements

Last opportunity to secure Caleb and Kelsey tickets! If you have not yet obtained yours, please do so promptly, as we are nearing the maximum capacity. For Tickets Click Here

In preparation for the upcoming concert, kindly review the following information:

  • For Meet & Greet and Early Admission tickets, guests will be required to line up and enter through the glass elevator entrance. Meet & Greet attendees will be permitted to enter at 4:45 p.m. to secure their seats and proceed to the meet & greet and light meal in the social hall. Kindly arrive and line up (staff will be directing guests) from 4:30 p.m. onwards. Meet & Greet ticket holders will be scanned upon arrival and admitted at 4:45 p.m. Early Admission ticket holders may also join the queue, but please note that Meet & Greet attendees will be prioritized and ushered ahead. Early Admission ticket holders will be admitted at 5:15 p.m. and permitted to ascend to the upper level to claim their seats. It is strictly prohibited to reserve seats for others, as this practice is unfair to other ticket holders. Please arrive with the individuals you wish to accompany.
  • General Admission ticket holders will use the two red doors on 2nd Avenue. (There will be people outside directing you to the doors.) Unless you need the elevator, an event staff worker will direct you and one other person from your party to the elevator entrance. You can begin lining up at 5:15 p.m. Tickets will be scanned as you arrive, so you won’t be able to leave the line once you’re lined up. This will make entry time (5:45 p.m.) run much more smoothly. Seats are first come, first served. Please arrive with the people you’d like to sit with, as seat-saving is not allowed. There will be a packed house.
  • Individuals will be directing you to park in designated areas outside the premises. Please adhere to their instructions regarding parking locations. Parking will be available in paved lots, grass lots, Bethany Lutheran Church, and other designated spaces.
  • Please be advised that re-entry is prohibited once the concert commences, with the exception of genuine emergency situations. We kindly request that you only bring essential items with you.
  • Food and beverages are prohibited within the sanctuary, the venue for the concert.
  • The band will be selling merchandise. Please bring cash for this purchase.

Please contact the church office during office hours this week to resolve any inquiries you may have.

As we approach Holy Week, please be advised of the following schedule:

  • Regular services will be held on Palm Sunday at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
  • Maundy Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

  • Easter Sunday will have two services: one at 7:00 a.m. and another at 9:30 a.m., with a break in between for breakfast. Please note that Sunday School, a staffed nursery, and Jr. Church will not be held on Easter Sunday.

On Sunday, April 27th, we will be delighted to welcome back the Rev. Dr. Matt Lake to 2nd Avenue! We will have one service scheduled for 10:00 a.m. that day. Please mark your calendars.

Weekend Announcements

Join us on Sunday as we continue our Lenten discipleship series. This week, we will hear from John 21:15-25, “Receive Grace and Extend Grace.” Services will be held at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

With only a week remaining, ticket sales for the Caleb + Kelsey concert will conclude next Saturday, April 5th, at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be held on Sunday, April 6th, at 6:30 p.m. General admission tickets are still available for $20, plus a fee. We will provide specific entry instructions later next week to ensure a seamless event. Please refrain from reserving seats and arrive with your party members to sit together. Seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific lines will be established outdoors for Meet & Greet, Early Admission, and General Admission. Please ensure you enter the appropriate line upon arrival, as signage and staff will be available for guidance. We appreciate your patience and understanding, especially considering this is the first time we are hosting an event of this magnitude.

We are experiencing a shortage of juice pouches and snacks for Jr. Church. Capri Suns, Kool-Aid Jammers, or juice boxes would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, the children have requested individually wrapped snacks such as Fruit by the Foot, Fruit Roll Ups, and chips. Items can be delivered on Sunday or during office hours. If you would like to order items for delivery, please ensure that they are not delivered to the church premises. (they will not leave them if we are not here) and instead let us know and we will give you an address to ship them to.
