We have officially joined the Global Methodist Church. Our official name is Second Avenue Global Methodist Church of Altoona.

We will use the following names: Second (2nd) Avenue (Ave) Global Methodist Church or Second (2nd) Avenue (Ave) Church. Any questions on our new Denomination or name please contact the church office.

The ROCK
Reaching Out to Community Kids meets every Wednesday during the school year. The ROCK will begin for the 2025-2026 school year on September 10, 2025 and run through May 13, 2026. All kids age 4 through 12th grade are invited. A home cooked meal is served, there are arts & crafts, games, gym time, small groups and more!  4:30 pm – 7 pm.

Monthly Free Soup & Sandwich Lunches
3rd Saturday each month, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm or out, whichever is first…dine in or take out available.

Did you know?? (Elevator and Wheel Chair Lift information)
Second Ave Global Methodist Church has an elevator to take anyone in need to the sanctuary level or the balcony level. We also have wheel chair lifts to the social hall and gym.  In our sanctuary, we have spaces for wheelchairs.  Please contact us if you’d like to come take a look!
